Curling Iron Cover - For Travel

I have seen these handy little curling iron covers in stores for $10.00 or more. They could not be simpler to make. All you need for this simple sewing project is a pot holder, some thread, and about 5 minutes. In the end you have a great little cover to slide your hot curling iron into, when you don’t have time to let it cool down before you have to throw it in your suitcase. These are handy little things to have in your travel bag and they also make an easy and inexpensive gift.
1) Get a pot holder -( I have always seen these made with pot holders that have the silver insulation on the back). Fold it in half lengthwise - so the little loop is at the top.
2. Starting at the bottom corner, zig zag the bottom and the side, leaving the top open to allow for the curling iron to be inserted.
3) Voila! Looks great!
